The Los Alamos School of Gymnastics (LASG) is a non-profit, member-owned and parent-operated organization.  We offer these options:

• Recreational and competitive gymnastics for girls and boys from ages two through high school
• Summer Sports Camp for children ages 6 to 12
• Weekday after-school program
• Wednesday after-school program
• Day camps for parent/teacher conferences and teacher in-service days
  

LASG has been in operation since 1976, and under the direction of Loui Janecky since 1981. The gym space is also available for birthday parties. The Los Alamos School of Gymnastics is a member club of USA Gymnastics.

Our Facility

LASG classes are taught in our 12,000 square foot, state of the art facility, by highly qualified and certified staff, with a 6:1 student:teacher ratio.  Classes follow the USA Gymnastics developmental and competitive curriculum for both boys and girls.  Gymnasts advance through the levels at their own rate, having fun while attaining skills in a safe environment.  Instruction includes all Olympic events:  parallel and uneven bars, beam, rings, floor exercise (dance and tumbling), vault, and horse.  Equipment for these and other program-enhancing activities include

• trampolines
• in-ground pit with new blocks
• zip line
• climbing wall, nets, and ropes
• 15 balance beams
• 19 bars
• ring tower
• 2 horses
• 2 mushrooms
• 4 vaults
• 40' x 40' spring floor
• over 100 landing, base, special shape, and developmental mats
• special preschool area
