Los Alamos School of Gymnastics

Los Alamos School of Gymnastics is a non-profit 501 3 c and has been serving the Los Alamos area for more than 30 years.  We are a member-owned and parent-operated organization. 

Volunteer Hours

Volunteer fees or work hours apply per session. Students in classes meeting more than once a week, or any of the after-school programs, will be assessed 2 hours or $30/session (month) in volunteer requirement. Students in classes meeting once per week will be assessed 1 hour or $15/session (month). Only one fee is assessed per family/month at the rate of their highest level gymnast. Once registration is completed, hours will be assessed through May or until the first day of the session for which prior written notification is received that classes are being dropped.

Work Days

Work days are generally scheduled once per semester for cleaning, general maintenance, and painting. These days are typically on Saturdays and scheduled from 9 to 4. These are a great opportunity to fulfill volunteer hours, and both skilled and unskilled labor is needed. Multiple family members over age 12 who work earn multiple credits.

LANL Volunteer Match

The LANL Volunteer Program encourages LANL employees and retirees to get involved by giving of their time, talent, and energy to community efforts.  The goal is to match employee interests with our communities' needs and goals by actively recruiting, retaining, recognizing, and rewarding volunteer service.  Monetary awards to the service organization are based on the number of volunteer hours reported through VolunteerMatch as follows:

• 100 to 249 hours - $100
• 250 to 500 hours - $250
• 500 hours or more - $500

Equipment Fund

LASG is a registered 501(c)3 non profit, tax exempt, charitable organization and we rely upon Friends and Members to keep us going.  LASG Tuition and Fees cover operating expenses only.  All LASG equipment monies come from the LASG Equipment Fund.  Cash and material donations to Los Alamos School of Gymnastics are tax deductible for the tax year in which you make the donation.
